about
Right after I finished school, at the age of 18, I moved to Worthing, a small town close to Brighton in England, to study fashion. Long story short, after completing the 1st year, I moved back home to finish my studies in fashion design and styling. During my studies, I used to research the internet for fashion inspiration and of course I pumped into fashion blogs. Fashion blogging wasn’t that famous at the moment and, to tell you the truth, I had no idea they existed, so I thought: "That’s interesting! Why not try something similar myself?" It could be a great place to save my inspiration and exchange ideas and images with people with the same interests as me. So I decided to create my own inspirational page, something like a moodpage, which later on was enriched with outfit posts and ended up into a personal style blog. And this is when “Surf Addict Fashionista” was born, taking its name from my biggest loves, surf and fashion.
Something that not many people know is that the blog used to have a completely different name. By the time I started posting personal outfits, I realized it needed something different, something unique so it would stand out. I was basically a windsurf athlete, surfing every now and then, but windsurf was such a big word and surf was just fitting perfectly. I also thought that it would be a good idea my blog to be a reflection of my life and my personal style.
