My day in London has been a truly adventurous one. I met my friend Sofia early in the morning and went straight to Topshop’s personal shopping section for my appointment. We had so much fun in there, exchanging clothes, taking pictures, and managed to leave Topshop with one big bag each.

Later, we had lunch in Soho, walked around Carnaby Street, and of course, visited my all-time favourite hummingbird cupcakes for a red velvet cupcake, which I already miss. Suddenly, many people rushed past us, running in a specific direction, and we were quite surprised. We had no idea what was happening until we asked someone—it was actually the Olympic torch passing by the road next to ours!

Because it was so close, we decided to follow it, but every time we got close, we missed it by just a couple of minutes. We finally caught up with it near Buckingham Palace and followed it to Hyde Park, where we saw it twice.

After all this chasing and running up and down London, we went home and fell asleep in no time.
