Kimono (着物). Traditionally a Japanese garment, which literally means a “thing to wear” /ki/ “wear” and /mono/ “thing”. To us it’s a statement full length or shorter robe that transforms a simple outfit to stylish.
Though it is the Japanese who first introduced kimonos, the one I’m wearing today is Greek and has been touched up with Greek folk elements that simply make it Greek Chic!
I personally believe, shorts and kimono worn with a minimal pair of Greek sandals, is a classic summer attire that never goes out of fashion, yet it’s comfy and trendy and you can easily wear it all day long, depending on your style and destination of course.
